Kingsmead School has been members of the National Flying Club since 2012. Kingsmead School has recorded a number of top 20 Section positions in recent years with the best performance coming in 2014 where Kingsmead came 5th I Section 122 Open in the clubs Grand National Race from Tarbes which is 661 miles to the school loft in Hednesford Staffordshire.
