The partnership of Pickstock and Gellespie has been one of the biggest supporters of the project and the pigeons from the Runcorn lofts where one of the first that we had here at the school. In 2011 Joey one of the partners contracted us offering 6 YB and these pigeons have proved to be some of the best we have had at the school competing at the highest level in the National Flying Club and the Midlands National Flying Club. Again in 2013 the partnership gave the school 4 pigeons for the new season these birds are just waiting in the wings to take their place of their predecessors and again get some excellent performances for the school.

Below are some of the excellent results from the pigeons donated by this loft.

Mark Gilbert, Windsor

In 2011 we was invited down to Windsor to the Lofts of Mark Gilbert, Mark had contacted the school offering to breed us 4 YB for the school project and we was able to go down in person to pick up these birds. We had an excellent day as Mark gave us unlimited access to his birds and was kind enough to let us handle his International winners from the past few years. We also were able to handle his team he was sending to the 2011 Saintes Race in the National Flying Club which he did win. Again we would like to thank Mark for his kind donation and below are the performances of one of the pigeons he has donated who is first in the clock every week here at Kingsfield Lofts. Please click on the picture of Mark to be directed to his personal web site.

In 2013 Kingsmead was contacted by the Royal Lofts based at Sandringham Norfolk on behalf of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II offering 2 pigeons from her loft. We were very pleased that the school had been recognized at the highest level and in June we visited Sandringham and met Peter Farrow who is the Royal Loft Manager. We returned to Kingsmead with two Royal Pigeons with Her Majesty’s personal rings on baring the mark ER. We would like to thank all that was involved in getting such high profile pigeons here at Kingsmead and we look forward to racing these special additions in the big races.
